About Richard Hunt

Richard started programming computers commercially when the only organisations who owned them were the government, very large corporations and computer manufacturers and they were the size of a large office building. After spending 6 years in the computer industry spent the next 10 years owning and managing entertainment and hospitality businesses returning to the computer industry in 2001 when he assisted two business colleagues set up a new business, Freshnet Systems, implementing a new online concept of managing the fresh produce supply chain industry into mainly brewery owned restaurant chains. The company successfully secured contracts with Young's PLC, Greene King, J. W. Lees, Hall & Woodhouse, Wadworth & Company, Carlsberg UK and integrated internet based systems with some of the UK's main food suppliers, 3663, Brake Brothers, Bunzl, and 100's of regional and local suppliers. It was clear during 2009 that Freshnet Systems had achieved all it could with the management structure in place at the time and it was time to move on. It was, again, time to develop a new opportunity.
